Tongue: A barbell passing vertically through the tongue. As some degree of swelling is expected during the healing process, a return visit is scheduled 2-3 weeks from the initial piercing to downsize the jewelry.
Lip: A captive bead ring usually worn on the lower lip. Shown here are 2 worn on each side of the mouth.
Labret: A flatback stud worn lower than a standard lip piercing in the center of the face. We usually start with a fishtail stud or captive bead ring and downsize to a flatback after 2-3 weeks to prevent impaction of the jewelry.
